  • Represents property purchasers in negotiating acquisition contracts, performing due diligence investigations, and obtaining financing for properties in Washington.
  • Represents the University of Washington (UW) in the acquisition, disposition, and management of vacant land and improved property, including a golf course, donated residential and commercial properties, a long term ground leased apartment building, and rights of way.  Work has included negotiating agreements between Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), UW, the City of Seattle, and the Washington State RCO (Recreation and Conservation Office) with respect to property acquired with LWCF Section 6(f) grant funding.
  • Negotiated, on behalf of a private client, with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) on issues related to the transfer of grazing and significant water rights.
  • Worked with the  Army Corps (USACE), on behalf of a large private client, in negotiations with respect to in-stream pumping facilities, easements, and rights of way for pipelines to the client property for irrigation purposes.
  • Represent a number of Washington and Oregon Ports in negotiating and documenting the acquisition of real property rights to and from private landowners, public right of way holders, and the USACE. 
  • Represents owners and tenants in office, data center, warehouse, and other commercial real estate transactions.
  • Represents a number of private (non-institutional) landlords on recurring office, industrial and retail projects and centers throughout Washington.
  • Represents commercial landlords and tenants in leasing matters and dispute resolution.
  • Provides general real estate counsel to major institutions in connection with leasing, development, acquisition and disposition of properties.
  • Represents local property owners and developers in daily operation and management of real property interests.
  • Worked with Habitat for Humanity Affiliates in a joint venture acquisition of land for development of residential housing.
