In recent days, Congress has been preparing to introduce important COVID-19 relief legislation via  Budget Reconciliation, a process used to quickly advance high-priority fiscal legislation where a bipartisan agreement cannot be reached. 

Michael Platner, Senior Tax Counsel, and Shannon Angielski, Co-Coordinator of our Government Advocacy and Public Policy practice, spoke about how Congressional Leadership will navigate their tenuous majority by relying on the Budget Reconciliation process -- a special tool that makes certain legislation easier to pass in the Senate.
