Katherine represents clients in real estate transactional matters across a range of sectors including energy and infrastructure, mixed-use projects, residential housing development, retail, and facilities owned and developed by state and local municipalities. She helps clients with diligence including identifying and navigating title and survey issues, and drafts and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements and other agreements for the use, development, financing, and disposition of real property. Katherine’s experience also includes representing lenders and bond issuers in tax-exempt and taxable debt and tax credit-assisted financings for the acquisition, rehabilitation, and construction of a variety of projects including affordable housing, industrial development facilities, and nonprofit facilities.

Previously, Katherine worked as a patent litigator in federal court and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to private practice, Katherine served as a law clerk to the Honorable David R. Thompson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and as a judicial extern to the Honorable M. Margaret KcKeown of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
