Van Ness Feldman Elects New Member in Electricity and Renewable Energy Practice

Van Ness Feldman is pleased to announce that Vincenzo Franco, formerly an associate with the firm, has been elected a member (partner) of the firm. 

Mr. Franco resides in the firm’s Washington, DC office, where his practice focuses on electric power and renewable energy technologies. He represents electric utilities, independent power producers, power and gas marketers, financial institutions, and investors on transactional, regulatory, compliance, and litigation matters involving the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the North American Reliability Corporation.

Mr. Franco regularly counsels clients on renewable energy project development, as well as on issues related to power contracts, market-based rates, mergers, sales and acquisitions of power projects, participation in organized markets, mandatory reliability standards, and import/export of electricity and natural gas.

Mr. Franco received a M.L.I. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2001. He holds a M.A. in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University and received an LL.B, summa cum laude, from the University of Bologna in Bologna, Italy in 1996.
