He advises automobile and engine manufacturers, suppliers, industry associations, and other stakeholders on Clean Air Act (CAA) implementation, vehicle emissions regulation, fuel economy and greenhouse gas policy, environmental compliance and sustainability, and emerging transportation technologies.
He brings more than three decades of leadership experience spanning both government and industry, including service as Group Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Environmental Sustainability for Toyota Motor North America and senior leadership roles within the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Transportation and Air Quality. Having helped shape environmental policy from inside government and led regulatory strategy for one of the world's largest automotive manufacturers, Tom provides clients with practical, business-focused guidance informed by firsthand experience developing, implementing, and navigating complex regulatory programs.
