Margaret focuses her practice on land use and environmental law, where she represents public and private clients in permitting, regulatory compliance, and project development under state and local laws, including the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), Growth Management Act (GMA), and Shoreline Management Act (SMA).
She previously served as a Get Engaged board member of the Seattle Planning Commission, where she held a one-year position and contributed to policy decisions and recommendations to elected officials. During law school, Margaret served as a judicial extern to Judge Tana Lin of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, conducting legal research and writing for Judge Lin’s chambers. She also served on the editorial staff of the Washington Law Review.
Before law school, Margaret worked as a Senior Transportation Planner for the Ada County Highway District in Boise, Idaho, supporting transportation and infrastructure planning.
