Van Ness Feldman provides primary strategic counsel and public policy representational services for the Large Public Power Counsel with both the Executive Branch of the federal government and the United States Congress. The Large Public Power Council is a CEO-driven coalition of the 27 largest community-owned public power systems in the United States. LPPC includes public power systems such as the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Seattle City Lights, the Salt River Project in Arizona, the New York Power Authority, and the Orlando Utilities Commission. Our work focuses on advocacy in the areas of energy, environment, infrastructure and cyber security, extensive analyses of legislation and assisting in developing guiding principles on core climate change policies.
