Jedrick (Jed) Kim is an associate in the firm’s Energy Regulatory practice, where he represents clients on a wide variety of federal regulatory matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

While in law school, Jed spent a year in the Office of FERC Chairman Mark C. Christie, where he worked on matters including energy market power and regulation issues, novel issues of interregional transmission cost allocation, and transmission rate incentive reform. Earlier in his career, he also gained experience in FERC’s Office of Administrative Litigation, where he prepared memorandums regarding wind and solar grid interconnection, drafted natural gas pipeline settlement comments, and advised Trial Staff on a range of proceedings.

Jed earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where he was the Managing Editor of the George Washington Journal of Energy and Environmental Law, Vice President of the Environmental and Energy Law Association, and Treasurer of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA).
