Kyle Danish was quoted in an article on msnbc.com on cuts to climate change funding. The "continuing resolution" that is being voted on in The House, would cut climate change funding by 29 percent, and essentially prohibit the EPA from making or enforcing any rules relating to greenhouse gases. In reference to the "continuing resolution" and the Republicans' defunding strategy, Mr. Danish said, "Because of previous actions by EPA, certain new or modified facilities now have an obligation to obtain special pre-construction permits on account of their greenhouse has emissions. Defunding EPA climate change activities does not remove this permitting obligation; it only means you can't work with EPA to get the permit."
