Van Ness Feldman Again Ranked as a Top Emissions Trading Law Firm

January 2, 2008

For the second year in a row, a survey of nearly 1000 market participants by Environmental Finance has recognized Van Ness Feldman as one of the world’s top law firms for emissions trading. The survey judges the best dealers, brokers, law firms, and service providers in the world’s main environmental greenhouse gas emissions markets.

Van Ness Feldman was named as one of the top three law firms in the North American Greenhouse Gas Emissions Markets.  The full survey results are available in the December 2007/January 2008 print issue of Environmental Finance.

Since the mid-1990s, Van Ness Feldman’s pioneering Global Climate Change and Emissions Trading practice has garnered a significant U.S. and international reputation by helping companies in every sector of the economy develop business strategies to manage their risks and opportunities from emerging U.S. state, federal, and international regulations and to engage in the policy debate on such regulations.  In 2007, the firm worked closely with a number of leading firms in this area, including Norton Rose in London (voted Best Law Firm in Kyoto Project Credits) and Garrigues in Spain.
