In a letter received on March 7, 2012 from Co-Chairs Lee Hamilton and Brent Scowcroft, the firm was acknowledged for the "outstanding work and immense support" that the firm provided to the Blue Ribbon Commission on Americas's Nuclear Future.  Van Ness Feldman served as counsel to the commission.   

The Blue Ribbon Commission on America's Nuclear future was formed at the direction of President Obama and has worked since 2010 to review policies for managing the back end of the nuclear fuel cycle and recommend a new plan.  The commission submitted its final report on January 26th, 2012.
