Thaddaeus’s practice focuses on land use, real estate, and environmental law. He advises a broad range of clients with local zoning, state, and federal regulatory compliance, including SEPA/NEPA, when developing projects of all sizes. Thaddaeus works cooperatively with government staff members and has experience leading diverse client teams to obtain land use entitlements and development permits, and is regarded for his skill in representing clients in hearing examiner hearings, City Council hearings and meetings, and other venues where development projects are subject to public questions and scrutiny.

  • Experience
    • Advise clients undertaking development projects of all sizes on how to navigate federal, state, and local land use regulations, including SEPA and NEPA.
    • Work cooperatively with government staff members and lead diverse client teams to obtain land use entitlements and a broad range of development permits.
    • Monitor proposed and newly enacted legislation to ensure clients are kept apprised of legislation affecting land use, zoning, growth management, and similar fields important to development and leasing.
    • Represent clients in hearing examiner hearings, City Council hearings and meetings, and other venues where development projects are subject to public questions and scrutiny.
    • Research and write thorough memoranda and substantive emails on legal topics related to land use, development, landlord-tenant rights and responsibilities, and similar matters important to developers, landlords, and tenants.
