As a Director of Governmental Issues at Van Ness Feldman, Luke plays a pivotal role in shaping public policy, advocating for clients, and navigating the complex landscape of government affairs.  He focuses on federal energy, technology and industrial policy and his in-depth knowledge of these issues has proven invaluable to clients seeking to influence federal policies and regulations. 

Prior to joining Van Ness Feldman, Luke served as a legislative assistant to former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), where he held an issue portfolio and advised on legislative priorities. In his role, Luke also supported Rep. Cheney's investigatory work for the U.S. House Select Committee on the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Additionally, Luke served under Rep. Cheney during her tenure as House Republican Conference chair, providing assistance to members throughout the entire party.

He also previously served as an Associate Policy Analyst at Height Capital Markets, where he conducted thorough research on legislative and regulatory issues and provided clients with insights into their potential effects on the financial markets.
