Andrew is an attorney in the firm’s land use practice where he represents and advises both public and private sector clients on a diverse range of matters, including permitting, environmental regulations and compliance, litigation, and public policy related to the development and operation of renewable energy facilities and housing.

Prior to joining the firm, Andrew served as a member of the Seattle City Council from 2020-2023 where he served as chair of the Public Assets and Homelessness Committee, president of the Metropolitan Park District (MPD), and a member of the Finance, Land Use and Neighborhoods, Public Safety, and Sustainability and Renters Rights Committees.

He also served as an ex officio member of the Board of Directors of the Seattle Aquarium and the Woodland Park Zoo and represented the City of Seattle on several regional boards and commissions including the Seattle and King County Board of Health (BOH), the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC), the Growth Management Policy Board (GMPB), and the Governing Board of the King County Regional Homelessness Authority (KCRHA). Before his service in elected office, Andrew served as an Assistant City Prosecutor with the Seattle City Attorney’s Office where he tried over twenty jury trials to verdict and negotiated countless cases to resolution.

When not in the office, Andrew enjoys going to Husky football games, playing board games, and traveling.
