Danielle Mercurio (she/her/hers) works closely with the firm's policy practice to provide cogent analysis and actionable insights for the firm's clients.  Danielle analyzes energy and environmental policy, regulatory proceedings, and various agency filings to deliver timely, accurate and pragmatic perspectives on market structures, regulatory schemes and proceedings, and the viability of particular business opportunities.  Her focus is on analyzing and interpreting data from qualitative and quantitative research, syndicated reports, white papers, and market scans to inform stakeholders, identify key trends and develop recommendations for business strategy.  She also proactively monitors and conducts advanced research to provide insight on the regulatory and business landscape across key industries for various clients.  In addition, Danielle provides clients with thought leadership and market intelligence to assist with cross-functional business development initiatives.

    • Conducts in-depth assessments of federal, state and local policies and practices.
    • Reviews and synthesizes data and qualitative assessment findings.
    • Develops market surveys and economic impact analyses based on current and emerging industry issues.
    • Performs scenario planning of prospective federal and state regulatory action and effects on market, industry and clients.
    • Develops products, including policy briefs, research memos, and presentations, that concisely and clearly describe complex analyses.
    • Researches, identifies, and presents legislative and administrative policy and practice recommendations to meet client objectives.
