Julie Richardson’s practice emphasizes energy transactions, regulatory counseling, and administrative litigation in the liquefied natural gas (LNG), natural gas, and electricity arenas. Ms. Richardson is particularly experienced in assisting clients in the areas of LNG project development, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) applications, pipeline construction, asset acquisition, fuel supply agreements, and power marketing transactions. Her transactional and regulatory practice is both domestic and international.
As Legislative Assistant for Congressman Philip Ruppe (R-MI) – who was the Ranking Member of the Energy and Environment Subcommittee for the House Interior and Insular Affairs Committee – Ms. Richardson advised the Congressman on energy and environmental issues, including construction of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline.
