Megan Ceronsky works in Van Ness Feldman's climate change and environmental practice groups. She counsels clients on regulatory and legislative developments related to climate change, renewable energy, and energy efficiency at the federal, state, and international levels.
Professional Background
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ceronsky clerked for Judge Blane Michael of the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Ceronsky has also worked on climate change issues at a number of environmental policy and research organizations. As a legal intern at Environmental Defense, she assisted the strategic communications team on climate change policy through scientific, economic, and legal research and writing. As a researcher on the Social Cost of Carbon Team at the Stockholm Environment Institute, Ms. Ceronsky investigated the effects of non-linear climate responses on projections of the costs of global warming, a project funded by the British Government and the European Union. Ms. Ceronsky also worked on environmental issues as the Natural Resources Advisor to U.S. Senator Max Baucus (D-MT).
