Stuart C. Hall

Director, Governmental Issues*

Stuart Hall is part of Van Ness Feldman's policy team and focuses on transportation and infrastructure issues.

She also supports the Consumers United for Rail Equity (CURE) coalition by providing member services, communications, and policy analysis and advocacy.

Professional Background

Ms. Hall joined Van Ness Feldman after working for seven years in the office of U.S. Representative Richard H. Baker (R- LA). 

As the Legislative Director, Ms. Hall staffed the Congressman on Transportation and Infrastructure Committee issues and handled all appropriation and project requests. In fiscal year 2008, she helped secure over $24 million in federal funding for the Sixth Congressional District of Louisiana.

As a Senior Legislative Assistant, Ms. Hall assisted the Congressman with negotiations in the House-Senate conference on the Water Resources Development Act of 2007.  Ms. Hall was also responsible for writing and managing four pieces of legislation that passed the House of Representatives, three of which were signed into law.
