Todd A. Wooten

Senior Director, Governmental Issues*

Todd Wooten provides legislative and policy advice for clients on topics including biofuels, climate change, energy, transportation, defense, technology, and infrastructure security. 

Professional Background

Prior to joining Van Ness Feldman, Mr. Wooten worked for over five years in Senator Blanche Lincoln's office.  As Legislative Counsel, he analyzed policy on issues involving energy, environment, tax, transportation, judicial nominations, homeland security, intelligence, and armed services.  One of his key accomplishments was successfully shepherding five energy tax provisions from markup in the Finance Committee to the President's desk where they were signed into law.

Mr. Wooten also served as an energy staffer for the Senator on three committees with biofuel jurisdiction: Agriculture, Energy & Natural Resources, and Finance.
