Shay Miller

Shay Miller focuses her practice on government policy, helping small and mid-sized businesses gain access to U.S. government contracts and funding vehicles.  She also engages in a regulatory practice with respect to the Clean Air Act, with an emphasis on mobile source emissions.

In the area of small business assistance, Ms. Miller has particular experience working with veteran-owned enterprises and other "special status" businesses. 

Professional Background

Prior to entering legal practice, Ms. Miller served in a business development and project management capacity for Intellitrans LLC, a logistics software and services company. 

Ms. Miller's also served in a variety of capacities as a U.S. Army logistics and transportation officer.  Her assignments included coordinating military and civilian maritime shipments, personnel deployments, procurement, and contract management.  In addition, through her service as a Platoon Leader and Executive Officer, Ms. Miller gained experience with management issues, including a range of personnel, financial, and legal considerations.
