Emily Pitlick assists clients in regulated industries to understand and comply with their obligations under energy, environmental, and healthcare laws. Her work supports the regulatory needs of clients with regards to the Clean Air Act (CAA), the Federal Power Act (FPA), the Pipeline Safety Improvement Act (PSIA), and various state and local regulations, as well as healthcare and climate change legislation pending before Congress. Emily also has expertise in emerging issues in energy, environment and climate regulation from her participation in the Carbon Capture and Sequestration Regulatory (CCSReg) Project.
Emily's ongoing and recent projects include working on a large stakeholder proceeding before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) with policy ramifications for the merchant transmission industry and advising natural gas, oil and products pipeline companies on their compliance obligations before FERC.
