Van Ness Feldman’s Malcolm McLellan is quoted in the Puget Sound Business Journal regarding the United Services Organization of Puget Sound’s (USO) expanded role in the military community. 

In response to the organization's new strategy of enlisting nonmilitary representatives to participate in various capacities, which is resulting in expanded services for military families, Mr. McLellan, USO vice chairman and a partner in Van Ness Feldman’s Seattle office says, “In the past, it was just the military taking care of the military. Now the community is.”
