  • Managed agency relations and regulatory project management of several University of Washington projects, including the Bioengineering Genome Science building, a 250,000 square foot facility for biomedical research in the heart of the university's campus. This project was issued a Shoreline Substantial Development permit with a final EIS action in less than four months through strategic collaboration between the university and review agencies.
  • Lobbied on behalf of several large shoreline land owners to obtain favorable modifications to proposed shoreline regulations.
  • Authored development regulations, including engineering, environmental, shoreline, and design review requirements for jurisdictions such as City of Seattle, Kitsap County, and several smaller municipalities in Kittitas County.
  • Led a variety of permitting and plan approval processes: project permitting for mixed-use and multifamily developers, strategic long-range land plans, and EIS creation for North Seattle and Shoreline Community Colleges; rezones land use entitlements for several non-profit low income housing developers including Compass, Catholic Housing Services, and Urban Impact.
