Clean Line Energy Partners, LLC

Van Ness Feldman provides legal counsel and strategic advice on federal environmental permitting matters for Clean Line Energy Partners LLC’s (Clean Line) Plains & Eastern Clean Line, a proposed high voltage transmission line spanning 800 miles from eastern Oklahoma into Tennessee. At completion, this project will have the capability to interconnect up to 7,000 megawatts of wind resources for delivery to the Tennessee Valley Administration, which serves a large segment of the Southeastern United States. The firm provides counsel to Clean Line particularly with respect to the development of an environmental impact statement studying the 800-mile transmission corridor under the National Environmental Policy Act, consultation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service regarding potential effects from construction, and siting of the facility upon species listed as threatened or endangered under the Endangered Species Act, and their designated critical habitat and other federal environmental review and permitting matters.
